This is because your firewall or ftp client needs to be adjusted to work correctly with our firewall.
If you are using Bullet Proof FTP, follow these steps:
click on -> Options -> General Options- Firewall -> Click to uncheck Use Passive Mode
If you are on Linux OS, you may also use sftp instead
